On November 15 the Ogle County Fair Association held their annual meeting. During the meeting the mowing team of Brian Grover, Rick Bergner, Steve Pumfrey and Chip Lewison , who keep the fairgrounds looking good all summer, were named Volunteers of the Year. New by-laws were also approved adding three more directors. Brenda Holm, Joseph Ring, Randy Anderson, Justin Simpson and Jon Sheely were elected by the association members to fill this year's open director seats, pictured below.

Thanks to you the 2025 Ogle County Fair proved to be one of the best yet, drawing a total attendance of 13,443—up significantly from 10,721 the previous year. Mark your calendars for July 29–August 2, 2026, for another week of tradition, fun, and community pride.

Do you have things that need to be stored for winter and before the next snowfall? We still have space available for winter storage. There are three options available -the enclosed exhibit building, barns with open sides, and outside with no cover. Maximum height limit is 12 feet. The cost is based on the length of your unit and the type of building you wish to place your unit.

Call the fair office at 815-732-6962 if you want to schedule a time to bring your unit for storage or if you have any questions.

Spring checkout day is Saturday, March 21, 2026. More information can be found on our website at www.oglecountyfair.com.

Are you bringing items for storage on Saturday? Here are the instructions to make things go smoothly. When you arrive, enter the North entrance (next to the grandstands). There will be 2 lanes, left lane for those storing in the exhibit building, right lane for those storing in the barns or open areas. Leave your vehicle in line to come to the office with your paperwork and payment, then return to your vehicle and wait for instructions to go to the building. You will place your unit in its storage location, spotters will be there to assist. Exit the fairgrounds through the south gate.

The Annual Meeting of the Ogle County Fair Association will be held at 6:30 pm on Saturday November 15, 2025, in the Farm Bureau Auditorium, Pines Road, Oregon, IL. All Fair association members are invited to attend. Everyone who contributes to the fair or volunteers their time is considered a member of the association. All members have a voice and voting rights at this meeting.

A potluck dinner will begin at 6:30, with the board providing meat dishes, coffee, lemonade, and water. Please bring a dish to pass and your own table service. After dinner the meeting will begin. The meeting will include a review of the year’s activities; approval of the 2024 annual meeting minutes, treasurer’s report, audit report; presentation of awards; vote on new by-laws, and election of directors.
