GFWC Oregon Woman's Club

and Ogle County. Oregon Woman's Club Annual Antique Show - is usually held the last weekend in March.

Our club was organized in 1922 and joined the Federation in l924; and over 100 years later, our members continue to work tirelessly to better their communities and the lives of others Oregon, IL. We have over 50 quality dealers from the Midwest & have an annual attendance of nearly 2000 people. We also have qualified appraisers on Sunday & glass repair during the entire two day show. All profits a

re given to benefit causes serving the Oregon area. Unfortunately, due to covid-19, our 70th Oregon Antique Show has been cancelled for 2021.

Oregon Woman's Club will meet this Friday, April 17 at 1:00 pm at Rock River Center. We will hold an election for President and one board member. There will be another report on Antique Show. Scholarship winner from Oregon High School will be announced. And details for our May luncheon will be shared. Hope to see you Friday!

Oregon Woman's Club will hold a regular meeting on February 20, 2026 at the Rock River Center at 1:00 pm.
We will be signing Easter Cards for the nursing home and updating you on the Antique Show. Christa will share with us thank-you notes from the Madonna Renewal Center in Freeport and the Village of Progress for our Christmas donations.
We also have a speaker coming in. Michael Glenn, the executive director of CMAAA (located in the old Coliseum building) will tell us about the many developments there since the museum's opening. It offers local artists the opportunity to show their work in many media, such as oil painting, water colors, sketches, fabric, and photography, some of which are for sale. Collections of glassware, pottery, and sculptures in stone, wood, and metal, and native American artifacts are also on display. The museum also offers art classes, musical programs, lectures, and films.

Enjoy an afternoon of fun. Meet with friends and neighbors to play board games or cards. Bring your own favorite games or use the ones provided. * Prizes, 50/50 raffle * Refreshments. $5.00 entry fee at the door. Open to the public! All proceeds go to support Winning Wheels, which supports rehabilitation services for young adults with neurological impairments caused by accident or illness.

Oregon Woman's Club will hold their annual Christmas Luncheon and gift exchange for members on Friday, December 13th at noon at Rock River Center in Oregon.
Our next regular business meeting will be held February 21, 2025 at Rock River Center at 1 PM.

Oregon Woman's Club will hold their next club meeting Friday, November 15th at 1:00 pm at the Rock River Center. At this meeting, we will wrap presents for our "Adopt a Family" initiative for Hope House.
