FCCA was established in 1981 and is a Friends group of Franklin Creek State Natural Area. We operate the Franklin Creek Grist Mill, the only water powered grist mill in Illinois. FCSNA and Grist Mill are located in Lee County, northwest of the village of Franklin Grove and east of Dixon just north of IL Rt. 38.

Join Franklin Creek Conservation Association on Saturday, June 20, 2026, from 4-9:15 p.m. for the Franklin Creek Summer Solstice Gathering at the historic Franklin Creek Grist Mill in Franklin Grove.
