Students at the Michigan Academy of Physicians Associates Fall CME conference Michigan Academy of Physician Associates gathered items to donate to the girls and young women we serve. They set up table displays to with the theme that health care workers are superheroes. We couldn’t be more grateful.

Tell us which table is your favorite in the comments!

Today, we wear purple to honor victims and stand in solidarity with survivors of domestic violence.

Tomorrow, we continue the work. Because awareness alone is not enough. We need action. We need change. And that change starts with each of us.

Will you stand with us?

Show us your purple. Share a photo in the comments and help us spread awareness.

If you or someone you know needs help, please call our crisis line at 888-234-3919.

One mile. One community. One shared commitment to showing up for our neighbors!

What an incredible day at Walk a Mile Wednesday!

AFG joined the Detroit Police Department, the Cass Tech High School Marching Band, community partners, and our neighbors for a day filled with connection, laughter, and community spirit!

From walking the neighborhood in our bright pink shirts to enjoying family-friendly activities and sharing valuable resources, the day was about more than walking a mile. It was about reminding our neighbors that we are here, we care, and we are stronger together.

Thank you to everyone who walked, volunteered, and celebrated with us!

Because community isn't just where we work. It's who we are.

You can be apart of that work. Whether you make a donation, volunteer your time, or help spread awareness about the challenges girls face, your support can help create brighter futures for girls and young women in our community.

People tell us they almost didn't call because they weren't sure it was “bad enough.”

Calling our crisis line can be a question. It can be “I don't know what this is.” It can be about someone else. An advocate will not tell you what to do. They will listen, share information and options, and then it is yours to decide.
