Our annual Thanksgiving event is coming together, and we are incredibly grateful for the generosity weā€™ve already received!

Thanks to some amazing supporters, our event tent is fully covered, and ALL of our Thanksgiving baskets have been sponsored! What a blessing. ā¤ļø

Now weā€™re working to cover the finalā€”and biggestā€”pieces of Thanksgiving Day:

šŸ½ļø Food for the Thanksgiving meal: $4,800
šŸ¦ƒ Turkeys: $4,500

Our remaining fundraising goal is $9,300.

Every donation helps us get closer. Whether you give $25, $50, $100, sponsor a turkey, or contribute toward the meal, you are helping us make sure our neighbors can gather around a table, enjoy a beautiful Thanksgiving meal, and know that their community cares about them.

For us, this day has always been about more than food. Itā€™s about dignity, connection, community, and making sure our neighbors know they are seen and loved.

Thanksgiving is a time for gathering, gratitude, and making sure our neighbors know they are seen and cared for.

We are preparing for our Annual Thanksgiving Event for our Neighbors, and we need your help to make it special!

Each year, we have the privilege of coming alongside the families in Detroit to provide a Thanksgiving meal, encouragement, and a little extra love during the holiday season. We simply couldnā€™t do it without the generosity of people who believe in neighboring well.

We are currently accepting donations to help provide Thanksgiving meals and supplies for local families. Every donationā€”large or smallā€”helps us put food on a table and remind a family that their community cares about them.

Today we especially honor the single mothers who carry so much on their shoulders every single day with strength, courage, sacrifice, and unconditional love. Your resilience inspires us. Your hard work matters. And the love you give your children does not go unnoticed.

One thing I have always loved about U of D Jesuit High School and Academy is even when your boys graduate the friendships live on! Thankful for some alumni who packed weekend meals for us and for a bunch of alumni moms who donated and bought the supplies! !
