I want to take a moment to sincerely thank everyone who has already contributed to our Furnace Fundraiser at Siloam Missionary Baptist Church. Your generosity, kindness, and willingness to help mean more than you know. Every donation, regardless of the amount, is helping us move closer to our $2,000 goal.

My friend Dana Konieczny is part of one of my social groups and teaches in one of Detroit's most underserved school districts. She has a fun, quirky personality and uses her colorful style, creativity, and endless energy to capture the attention of her students and make learning exciting.
We all know Detroit's schools face many challenges, and teachers like Dana often go far beyond what's required. Year after year, I've watched her pour her heart into these children, frequently spending her own money to provide classroom supplies and create meaningful learning experiences because the school budget only covers the basics.
Each year, Dana puts together a classroom wish list filled with items that help her students learn and thrive. Friends, family, and supporters choose items from the list, and every purchase is shipped directly to her classroom.
If you're able to help, no gift is too small. Every notebook, book, game, or classroom supply makes a difference in the life of a child.

We extend our gratitude to all who came forward to help us adopt a family for Christmas. Due to a late start, we are unable to fulfill all our initial plans; however, we will be providing gifts to 21 different children based on the letters we received. Next year, we will begin our efforts earlier and appreciate everyone who participated in this initiative. We will reach out and ensure our gifts are delivered.

Everything I’m selling supports a mission in honor of my late father RB Friend Outreach Mission, INC, where we’ll be doing a full Christmas for families chosen from heartfelt letters we receive.
