Follow for the latest classes & events! A 501c3 nonprofit organization whose is to unite artists through charitable events that create and foster positive change in the community. We believe that by sharing a creative space with like-minded artists from around the nation we can make a difference in the lives of those around us. Since our inception we have had great success

with our three-day glassblowing collaborations. Glassblowers from around the nation worked together to make multiple collaborative pieces and individual work. Proceeds from the sale of the pieces, monetary donations and auctions allowed us to donate $36,000 to The Belle Isle Aquarium from 2012-2014. Proceeds from our 2015-2023 events has allowed us to donate $525,000 to Art Road Nonprofit, an organization that is returning art classes to the regular curriculum of Detroit public schools who lost theirs due to budget cuts. Our next main event will take place June 21-23 2024 in Detroit, Michigan!!! Our 2024 beneficiary will continue to be Art Road, ensuring we can provide art class to even more children in the future. Venue:
The Russell Industrial Center
1600 Clay St. Detroit, MI 48211

Festivities include three days of live music, graffiti, food, over 100 vendor booths, live painting and 100+ glassblowers collaborating on multiple artistic creations. Our silent auction provides attendees with opportunities to purchase hundreds of items donated for the cause. This event will provide a space for our sponsors, glass artists, vendors and other attendants to establish new connections as well as expand on existing relationships. Stay tuned for our detailed schedule of events and lodging info!

Glass is ubiquitous. It is a material we see every day without giving much thought to how it was made. For centuries, the techniques used to make it were kept guarded and secret on the isles off the coast of Italy. It is there where humanity learned the significance of this amazing medium. It has impacted humanity on a level never seen before. Every significant scientific advancement has been dependent on some sort of glass technology. As we began to understand the material, we began to understand the universe around usβ€”from the microcosm all the way out to the stars.

Teaching glass is important to me. Keeping the flame of knowledge lit and passing it on is the only way to ensure that this mystic medium stays alive and well outside of industry. It is the pulling away from factories and into creative studios that has made this opportunity available. It is only since the mid-60s that people off the street could work with glass. We are here to share that with you, and I could not be more excited. Join us and play your part in glass history. You could be the next in the chain to pass it on.
