OPEN LETTER & CALL TO ACTION!!
I remember reading the... "Emperor's New Clothes"... years ago and not understanding what effect it would have on me years later. It is a tale told to convince on lookers that what they were seeing is NOT what they were seeing.
Take a moment to review:
A.I. is the latest economical advancement that has already begun to reduce the need for workers since A.I. has the capacity to replace human hands. In Michigan, we once had a Dodge Main, a Lynch Road Assembly, a Chevrolet Gear & Axle, a Huber Avenue Foundry, Mack Stamping, the reduced in size Ford Motor Complex all dwarfed in size by the introduction of the international device known as the ‘assembly’ line. The ‘assembly line’ changed the face of automobile manufacturing permanently just as A.I. has started to do. MI is a manufacturing headquarters that has been a leader in production for years, but today – things are changing so we need to better understand what lies ahead, and just what kind of outfit is the Emperor wearing.
Michigan is also in a hot race that is exposing the candidate pool we have. The race for the new governor is in full swing. The race for conservative's vs progressives is popping.
This OPEN LETTER is focused on one area...but not really. James Clyburn and some National Black Caucus members have come out in support of ‘old school’ thinking. Democrats STILL don’t want to fight for those things working people want.
We all don’t have healthcare – why? Why all this recent concern about homeless veterans when this population has been on the streets & suffering for years? Why? The ICE agent that shot and killed the man in Maine has been in and out of mental health centers for years and had a habit of using the “N” word according to a former wife and that is who was given a gun and hired – why? It is not his fault that he is ill, but it is someone’s responsibility that such a person was hired to carry a gun.
These things keep happening because it takes us too long to learn while voices tell us that what we see is not what we are seeing. We have been ‘chickened-down’ as we wait for someone else to fight for what we need.
The Right to Vote is being challenged by the US Justice Dept that sent a letter to Detroit, Lansing, and East Lansing Clerks explaining WHY they were sending federal monitors to all voting locations in those three cities suggesting voter fraud is taking place. All evidence proves that such a notion is not true. New threats require new strategies forward.
The well-respected James Clyburn, those National Black Caucus Members, and the group of Michigan-based local, retired elected officials who tell us to stay in line, to vote for the old school conservative candidates, who say the old ways are the best ways, who say the new voices can’t be heard in the long run, need to: “GET THE HELL OUT OF THE WAY!”
The people need new ideas, new energy, new ways of thinking and proof that they came to us, heard us, and are taking what we told you as your call to action. The OLD CLOTHES that the old guard is used to wearing won’t work anymore.
Young voters, elder voters, disabled voters, religious voters, veteran voters, welfare recipient voters, food stamp recipient voters, homeless voters, college voters, factory voters, union & non-union voters, activist voters, Eastside – Westside, Southwest and Northwest voters, and those who don’t believe voting helps – get yourselves together and
VOTE FOR ABDUL EL-SAYED for US Senate every time you see his name listed anywhere!
We need something new and fresh, and courageous.
