Laborers' Local 1191

Our Tribute Week has officially come to a close, but we wanted to share a little something from Michigan LECET Director and LIUNA National Retiree Council Member, Richard Turner. He made this past week possible, and we are all grateful for the work he has done over the years. He is a true LABORER FOR LIFE.

Miguel's story of travel and perseverence serves as an example of what you can achieve as a LIUNA. Is it hard work? Yes. But the reward in the end makes it all worth it. Miguel continues to inspire us and our members as he stays active in our union, and we cannot properly express our gratitude for it.

Today is our day to celebrate some of the best retirees, not only in Michigan, in all of LIUNA. 1191 retirees continually bring their wisdom to our local and serve as the voice of experience for our younger members to learn from and grow!

Day 6 of the Tribute Week starts NOW!
To kick off our day Laborers' Local 1191 Business Manager Michael Aaron wanted to share his gratitude towards our retirees, for all of their work that made LIUNA what it is today, AND the value they still bring to our when they stay involved!
