Today is a day of celebration for most, and a day of pain for others.

To the women who celebrated our wins, nursed our cuts and bruises, fed us, gave us an encouraging word when we needed it, nurtured us when love was the option that would suffice, and sacrificed their livelihood and even there body’s to bring us into the world. We love and honor you today.

To those of us who’s mothers are no longer here with us, I send love, warmth of body and spirit, and genuine hart felt hugs to you today as you reminisce, shed tears of joy and pain in memory of “Her”, your rock, confidant and best friend.

MEN…….

Society will lead you to believe that ruling is about enforcing your selfish will upon everyone around you. As a consequence, we feed the narcissistic gene that tends to reside within the male psyche, and we destroy everything in our care, from women, our children, friends, colleagues and even sibling relationships. Most men fail to understand that a king is not a tyrant.
