The UAW International Women’s Department was honored to stand alongside the members of UAW Local 2192 as they continue their fight for fairness, dignity, and respect. We were proud to bring donations, support, and encouragement to our union family on the picket line.

This is what solidarity looks like. When workers face challenges, we show up. We stand shoulder to shoulder, lend a helping hand, and remind one another that no member stands alone. Our strength comes from our unity, our compassion, and our commitment to each other.

For Alzheimer’s and Brain Awareness Month, UAW Women’s Department Director Margaret Mock and the Women’s Department honor the resilience of our members affected by this disease.

Whether you are living with Alzheimer's or selflessly stepping up as a caregiver, your UAW family stands with you.

Brain health is integral, and caregiving is union work. This June, let’s recommit to supporting our families, raising awareness, and fighting for a future without Alzheimer's.
