What an incredible Week 2! Our campers had an amazing time filled with learning, laughter, and lots of fun memories.

This week, our students enjoyed arts and crafts, outdoor activities, and continued building new friendships.

Our campers are learning how to write their names in cursive, and they were so proud to show off their beautiful handwriting skills! Seeing their confidence grow as they learned something new was truly special.

One of the biggest highlights of the week was our exciting field trip to Kid Empire! The kids had an absolute blast climbing, sliding, exploring, and playing together.

To top it all off, we had some exciting dance battles this week! Our kids showed off their best moves, cheered each other on, and filled the room with energy and laughter.

We are so proud of our campers for their kindness, creativity, teamwork, and enthusiasm. Week 2 was definitely one to remember, and we can't wait to see what adventures Week 3 brings!

🌞 Week 1 Wrap-Up at Detroit Impact Summer Discovery 2026! 🌞

What an incredible first week! We had so much fun learning, laughing, creating, and making new friends. From exciting arts & crafts and team-building activities and academic enrichment, our campers started the summer with smiles and positive energy!

We are so proud of each and every student for showing kindness, enthusiasm, and a willingness to learn. Seeing everyone excited to come back each day has made this first week a huge success!

Hello friends! We have a pop-up pantry added to the list for TOMORROW, Saturday, June 6th. This is a special event for Men's Health Month. We will be on-site with emergency food boxes.

*Please note this is not a full distribution, with dry goods only. Please register within the health fair.

💙 **Thank You, Detroit!** 💙

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who came out and participated in our **Debris Free Detroit Community Clean-Up** on Saturday!

Because of your hard work, dedication, and community spirit, we were able to make a positive impact in our neighborhood by removing debris, beautifying our community, and showing what can happen when people come together for a common purpose.

We are incredibly grateful to our volunteers, families, community partners, supporters, and staff who gave their time and energy to help make this event a success. Every bag of trash collected, every area cleaned, and every helping hand contributed to creating a cleaner, safer, and more welcoming Detroit.

Special thanks to everyone who donated supplies, refreshments, and resources to support our efforts. Your generosity helped keep our volunteers motivated and energized throughout the day.

At Detroit Impact, we believe that community transformation starts with all of us. Saturday was a powerful reminder that when we work together, we can create lasting change.

Good morning and thank everyone for attending our Debris Free Detroit Volunteer Orientation hosted by Detroit Impact. Your time, energy, and willingness to serve mean so much to our community. We are excited to officially come together for our Community Clean-Up on May 30th from 10:00 AM–2:00 PM. Together, we are making a difference one block at a time.
