13 years ago, our programs had the opportunity to visit Ben Ross Academy in Warren, Michigan, where we hosted an inspiring school assembly with students during the school day.

Later, we brought our RubyGirl and It’s-N-The Male programs to the school through after-school programming, creating a space for young people to learn, grow, and be empowered.

A special thank you to Theresa Johnson for her vision, support, and efforts in helping make this opportunity possible. It’s amazing to look back and see how the work we started years ago continues to be part of our story! 💕🙌🏾

Working together is a skill set our youth are learning in our summer work program. Sometimes doing things as a team can bring the best results.

At Project U Turn, our Summer Work Program is about so much more than a paycheck. We’re helping teens develop strong work ethics, leadership skills, responsibility, confidence, communication, and real-world job experience that prepares them for their future.

When we invest in our youth today, we build stronger leaders for tomorrow. Every lesson learned, every skill developed, and every opportunity provided is another step toward purpose and success.

We’re not just providing summer jobs—we’re building futures. 💙

A summer work program for youth teaches much more than how to earn a paycheck. It helps young people develop the habits, attitudes, and life skills they need to become successful employees, leaders, entrepreneurs, and responsible adults.
