Roosevelt Rider Club Riders Club is the athletic booster club charged with raising money to alleviate the financial burden put on our Roosevelt High School athletic teams.

Our Athlete of the week/ Leadership spotlight is Isaiah Keller!

Isaiah has been a dedicated member of this team since his freshman year, running varsity through out his time as a Roughrider and joining the captains squad last year. Like all athletes he has overcome challenges and frustrations in his commitment to running.

But it is his actions this year under uncertainty that have really allowed him to put his Rider pride to the test! After losing coach, Isaiah immediately focused on the future, reaching out to those who could help, and dedicating himself to ensuring we would still have a productive summer running program and athletes ready for the season. Isaiah’s commitment is evident, and it is clear already in practices that our team trusts Isaiah to lead them.

Thank you Isaiah! We know you are going to have a successful and memorable senior season.

The Riders Booster Club is dedicated to fundraising to help fill the void created by the shortfall of funds coming from the Des Moines Public Schools to meet the needs of our athletic teams and its student-athletes. We must continually raise funds each year to help provide resources necessary to compete at the highest level. One way to do this is to join The Riders Club. We have many membership options available; See attached Membership Sign-Up Sheet for more details. Your contributions are tax deductible and will help to relieve some of the financial burden placed on our teams. As with all donations to the Riders Booster Club, these funds will be spent in accordance with the bylaws along with input from the members, coaches, activities director and those who attend our monthly meetings. Come join in!

The Riders Club is the athletic booster club that helps support all of our athletic teams. Since 2012 the Riders Club has invested $250,000 dollars to support our programs. This has included $78,000 towards a new scoreboard, $56,287 toward for our new weight room and dozens of individual needs for all teams such as uniforms, shooting machines, hurdles, warm ups, singlets, backpacks, sound systems, fencing, pitching machines, headsets, retreats, annual banquets and more!
