PUBLIC HOUSING WAITING LIST OPENING FOR ALL BEDROOM SIZES

PUBLIC NOTICE:
Official public notice is hereby given that the City of Des Moines, Iowa, Municipal Housing Agency, will OPEN the waiting list for the Public Housing rental assistance program located in Des Moines, lowa for Two (2), Three (3), Four (4) and Five (5) Bedroom units (family sizes larger than 2 people from 8:00 am CST on JUNE 17, 2024 through 5:00 p.m. CST on AUGUST 17, 2024.
The waiting list for Royal View Manor remains open (families size 2 persons or less)
The waiting list for the Section 8 Program remains closed currently.
Applications for the above units in the Public Housing Program may be picked up at the Administrative office located at 2309 Euclid Ave, Des Moines, Iowa 50310 or Applications can be printed from the City of Des Moines website: https://www.dsm.city or by calling the Administrative office at 515-323-8950 for an application to be mailed.

If special accommodation or assistance is required due to a disability, request the necessary accommodation by contacting 323-8950. A TDD machine is available. DMMHA also offers the Language Line for persons needing interpretation services.

Our upcoming classes will cover important topics like Self-Respect, Leadership, Teamwork, Bullying, and Peer-Pressure.

DO THE MATH 247 is a Community Partner with the Des Moines Public Schools District.
