For the Community, By the Community.đź’™

Thrive Iowa of Buena Vista County was built on a simple belief: when a community comes together, we can create stronger support, better connections, and more opportunities for our neighbors.

Every conversation, every partnership, and every step forward happens because of the people who call this community home.

We are so close to our first milestone: only 25 more followers until we reach 300! 🎉 Growth matters because it helps us reach more families, more partners, and more people who want to be part of building a stronger Buena Vista County.

If you haven’t already, follow our page and help us spread the word by sharing with your friends, family, and networks. Every share helps us connect with someone new.

We also want to remind our community that Thrive Iowa is currently accepting referrals. Anyone can refer, whether it’s for a friend, a client, a family member, or even yourself. Sometimes asking for support is the first step toward finding a connection.

To submit a referral, visit www.hopehub.io and select “Submit a Referral.”

Together, we are building a community where people are seen, supported, and connected.

Thank you for being part of this journey!

What an amazing turnout for our first monthly alliance meeting! Close to 70 community members showed up to hear from our panel of experts talk about some very important issues in Buena Vista County. Many BV residents are feeling the growing pressures of rising rent prices and financial instability. The coming together of resources in our communities to help our friends and neighbors can make the difference between crises and stability. Thank you for all you do for our communities!

A very special thank you to our panelists:
Chris Cole — Storm Lake Police Department
Jessie Haffner— Family Crisis Center
Stephanie Henrich — Center Against Abuse and Sexual Assault
Frank Tenuta — Iowa Legal Aid
Tonya Reed — UDMO Housing Program Manager
