East High Rugby

East High Rugby East High School Rugby Football Club has been an official sport at Denver East High School since1988, supported by parents and community members.

Mission statement
To promote teamwork, sportsmanship and hard fair play through rugby for the young men of East High School and central Denver and to celebrate the positive diversity of our inner city population. East High Rugby Football Club is a Club Sport at Denver's East High School. High school boys' rugby is played in the spring; all eligible student athletes from East High School and surrou

nding high schools that do not offer rugby are allowed to train with excellent coaching staff and participate in all team activities. East High Rugby offers competitive play for some 8th graders, all freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors -- no player is cut and there are multiple matches for different levels of play (A and B sides as well as a series of Freshman/Sophomore matches) with other high school clubs. East High Rugby is supported by a very strong parent's organization and many alumni returning as coaches and trainers. The club is a member of Rugby Colorado (established in 1985) and USA Rugby http://www.rugbycolorado.com/
