Last Friday’s "Under the Sea" Prom was an absolute blast, and we still can’t stop thinking about it! 🌊🐠✨

From the red carpet arrivals to dancing the afternoon away, it was a truly magical day for our students! A massive thank you to our incredible donors who made sure every single student had a brand-new outfit, and to the wonderful volunteers who helped with setup, games, and our glam station. This unforgettable day wouldn't have been possible without your support! 💙

Happy 2nd Anniversary to Laradon’s Adult Day Culinary Program! 🍳✨

Two years ago, we launched this program with a clear mission: to provide our individuals with the skills to cook for themselves, pursue careers in the culinary field, and simply enjoy the art of a great meal.

Today, we are incredibly proud of every graduate who has come through this kitchen. This success wouldn’t be possible without our amazing Culinary Training Coordinator, Viola. She is the heart and backbone of this program, and we are so grateful for her hard work and dedication!

Cheers to many more years of delicious growth and independence! 🥂🥗

Investing in our Leaders to Empower our Mission 🌟

Last week, our leadership team at Laradon completed their months-long intensive course with Iridium Leadership. Over the past few months, this group has been meeting to sharpen their skills and develop new strategies to uplift and empower our entire staff.

Many participants walked away with a renewed sense of confidence and a toolkit of leadership techniques they are eager to put into action. A huge thank you to Dewitt Dees and the Iridium Leadership team for helping us grow as a community!
