Today Mary Lou Egan gave Rotarians a very interesting look back at the history of the Globeville neighborhood. She's a fourth generation Coloradan and descendant of Globeville's Slovenian immigrants. Globeville, Elyria and Swansea (GES) neighborhoods are approximately northeast of I-25 and I-70.

The Denver Mike High Rotary Club toured the Habitat for Humanity Metro Denver warehouse this morning and got an overview from CEO Jaime Gomez about the nonprofit. Since 1979, they have built 1,595 homes and repaired 982 homes. About 250 core volunteers come to help weekly. The nonprofit has four ReStores in metro Denver.
