We had such a great time joining the Health Sciences Career Panel at John F. Kennedy High School! 🎓💜

A huge thank you to the Denver Scholarship Foundation for inviting LTP to be part of this Career Day and giving us the opportunity to connect with students, share more about careers in behavioral health, and talk about the different educational and career pathways into the field.

We always love having the opportunity to get in front of students, answer their questions, and hopefully help them see themselves in careers they may not have considered before. 🌿

What made the evening even more special was hearing directly from our attendees about what this space meant to them. ✨

Hearing that attendees left feeling more connected, more inspired, more confident in their journeys, and with a greater sense of community reminded us exactly why spaces like this matter. 🌿

These are just a few reflections shared with us following our first Latino Men in Mental Health Careers Event. We are so grateful to every person who showed up, shared a part of themselves, asked questions, made connections, and helped us create such a meaningful evening. 🙏🏽

We hope this is only the beginning of creating more spaces where Latino men can see themselves represented, feel supported, and know that there is a community cheering them on as they find their place in behavioral health. 💜

There is so much power in hearing directly from those who have walked the path before you. 💜

One of our favorite parts of bringing professionals into our events is hearing their stories, lived experiences, lessons learned, and words of encouragement. There is something so meaningful about giving aspiring and future behavioral health professionals the opportunity to hear from people who understand the journey and can share what they’ve learned along the way. 👨🏽‍💼💙

At our first Latino Men in Mental Health Careers Event, our panelists shared so much wisdom with our attendees—from navigating education and career pathways to representation, identity, challenges, growth, and finding your place in the mental health field. 🌿

Tomorrow is the big day! We are so incredibly excited to host our first-ever Latino Men in Mental Health Careers Event! 🎉

Latino men continue to be underrepresented in the mental health field, and we are excited to create an intentional space centered around representation, connection, career exploration, and community. This event will bring together Latino men who are interested in, currently pursuing, or already working in behavioral health to learn from one another, hear directly from Latino mental health professionals, explore different career pathways, and have meaningful conversations about their experiences in the field.

📣 We’re looking for mental health professionals to support upcoming mentorship sessions!

LTP is looking for 3 mental health professionals per session to join us as panelists/mentors for upcoming student mentorship sessions in Aurora.

This is an opportunity to connect with students interested in mental health careers, share your own professional journey, answer questions, and offer encouragement and mentorship as they explore their pathways into the field.

We know this opportunity is coming together on a quick timeline, so we truly appreciate anyone who is able to support us!
