⭐ Thank you so much to everyone who has joined Team LTP and chosen to run on behalf of the Latinx Therapist Project. We are truly grateful that you selected LTP as your charity partner and are stepping up to support our mission. Your participation helps raise critical funds to sustain our programs and continue growing opportunities for Latinx clinicians and students.

This year marks our very first time participating in the Colfax Marathon🎽 as an official charity partner, and we couldn’t be more excited to share this milestone with our community. We are honored to have dedicated individuals running in support of mental health equity, representation, and access to culturally responsive care.

If you’re still considering joining us, there is still time to sign up❗ — but we encourage you to register soon. For those who have already registered to run with LTP, please keep an eye out for upcoming emails with race-day logistics and team updates.

👉And even if you’re not running, you can still be part of the celebration. We invite our community to come out, cheer on our runners, and show your support. Together, let’s make every mile count — for our community and for our mental health representation!

Absolutely amazing! We’re still reflecting on the impact of our inaugural Mental Health Careers Conference✨—and feeling deeply grateful.

With over 100 attendees, this gathering brought together students, licensed clinicians, educators, and employers for a day centered on access, clarity, and connection within the mental health field. The energy in the room made one thing clear: people are actively seeking pathways into behavioral health careers, and our communities are ready to step into these roles.

🙌🏽Thank you to everyone who contributed to making this event possible—our attendees, presenters, panelists, and partners.

A special thank you to & for their support, and to the team for leading the event planning with such care and intention. This conference is just the beginning. We remain committed to creating spaces that support and guide the next generation of mental health professionals.

We had the opportunity to table at the DMLK career fair for students in 9th through 11th grade. 🏫💼

During the event we connected with 114 individuals including students sharing information about mental health career pathways, and the many opportunities available in the field. It’s always inspiring to engage with students, learning about their interest, and introduce them to careers they may not have previously considered.

We also appreciate the opportunity to connect with fellow professionals and community partners throughout the event. These moments of connection help strengthen our shared commitment to support supporting the next generation of professionals. 🌱

Community Over Everything 🤎
We recently gathered for an online Therapy Career Education session, and it reminded us exactly why we love what we do. While we started with the goal of exploring mental health career pathways, the real magic happened in the connection. It wasn't just about facts and figures; it was about real-time support. When one participant mentioned applying to the MSW program at MSU Denver, an alum from that very program stepped up to share their insider journey and advice. That’s the benefit of these sessions:

- Organic Mentorship in a Safe Space: Connect with people who have already walked the path you’re on.
- Personalized Guidance: Get answers to your specific "what’s next?" questions.

No matter where you are in your career journey, you don’t have to figure it out alone. These sessions are designed to be a soft landing spot for your questions and a bridge to your future. ✨ We’d love to have you in the room for our next one. Keep an eye on our page for upcoming dates!
