CICIM needs a driver with a truck to assist clients with local delivery of furniture, beds, and appliances to their homes and apartments on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 8:30 to noon. Central Illinois Christians in Mission will be hosting another Curb Alert event on April 25th from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the mission. We will place a variety of overstocked items on the curb in front of our building for anyone to take for free. Come check it out and pick up items you can use at home!

Central Illinois Christians in Missions will closed Tuesday, March 17, 2026 due to the cold weather that is forecast. Stay warm! We will be open Thursday, March 19th regular hours.

Central Illinois Christians in Mission will be closed both Tuesday, January 27th and Thursday, January 29th due to cold weather. Any day that the forecast temperature is below 15 degrees by 8 am, it is the policy of the Mission to be closed. Thank you and stay safe.

We recently had the privilege of making some Christmas cheer for one our clients. He was in need of a way to better get around due to a recent partial amputation of one of his legs. We were able to hook him up with a recently received motorized wheelchair. It will be a life-changing gift for this deserving young man!! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from CICIM.

Central Illinois Christians in Missions will be closed December 23rd and 25th, as well as December 30th and January 1st, to celebrate the holidays. We would like to thank all our volunteers and the community members who provide support, both financially and through donations of household items to CICIM. Without these people and organizations, we would not be able to accomplish our mission to serve needy people in Decatur and Macon County. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from CICIM!!

Central Illinois Christinas in Mission will be closed on Thursday, December 4th, due to bitterly cold feels-like temperatures. Any time the actual or feels-like temperature is below 10 degrees when we are scheduled to open, the mission will be closed.
