Wisconsin Laborers' District Council The Wisconsin Laborers' District Council represents 10,000 LIUNA members throughout Wisconsin.

The Wisconsin Laborers' District Council is an affiliation of five Laborer Local Unions, representing nearly 9,000 construction craft laborers across the state. The Laborers are the most diverse trade in the construction industry servicing employers in building, sewer and water, transportation infrastructure, utility distribution, demolition, asbestos removal and related sectors. employer partners we are dedicated to protecting and improving the lives of members through family supporting wages and benefits, as well as through programs and services designed to make our members the safest, most skilled and productive workers in the industry.

They couldn't be any more different.

David Crowley pledges to roll back Act 10, as well as repeal the Right-to-Work law. He also advocates restoring state prevailing-wage laws and protecting labor agreements for public construction and infrastructure projects. He is campaigning, in part, on expanding worker power, collective bargaining rights, and economic security for working families.

Tom Tiffany voted to roll back workers' rights, including supporting Act 10, Right-to-Work, and the repeal of prevailing wage laws and PLAs.

The Wisconsin Laborers’ District Council Scholarship Fund awards scholarships to children and grandchildren of LIUNA Wisconsin members who are pursuing post-secondary education at a college, university, or trade school. Active members of affiliated unions with the Wisconsin Laborers’ District Council are also eligible to apply.

Today we are proud to congratulate Taylor McKenna on being selected as a scholarship recipient! Your hard work and dedication have earned you this well-deserved achievement, and we’re excited to see all that you accomplish in the future.

We’re especially proud to recognize her father, Aaron McKenna, a Wisconsin LIUNA Local 330 from Wells. Our members work hard every day to build stronger communities and brighter futures for their families-and this is a wonderful example of that commitment.
