Thankful Tuesday! Shout-Out to Monarch City Church in Deland for coming out to serve with us on Saturday. They repainted a few rooms inside the office, completed some much-needed yard work, and assisted with lots of other tasks. We are so grateful for their continued support of our mission 💜. When people in our community step up to help us with tasks we are able to do more.

Another emergency care package made and provided for a child who entered into foster care. Each and every child has a story of their own. However every child deserves the same comfort and support during their traumatic time. This child came into care foster care with just the minimal clothing they were wearing.

Thank you for everyone's continued support of our mission. Together we are changing 1 foster journey at a time ❤️.

3 more emergency care packages were provided to kids who entered into actual foster care recently. Luckily these children came with plenty of clothes but they still needed comfort and some cooler weather clothing. We were also able to provide a communication board for one of the children who is mostly non verbal and autism awareness bag for the new caregiver. All of this is because ALL of YOU!

2 more emergency care packages made and provided for 2 more kids who came into foster care.

Imagine being a child going about your day and then being pulled from your familiar environment and placed with someone you don't know.

Unfortunately this happens way more often than you think. When a relative or known/safe adult can't open their homes for kids they end up with strangers 💔. This can be extremely overwhelming for a child. But thanks to ALL of YOU, who support our mission, these kids have lots of comfort and essentials to help with this transition.

Support like this means so much to our organization and to the children and families we serve throughout our community.

Every grant, every donation, and every act of kindness helps us provide new clothing, hygiene products, and essential items to children entering foster care and families working toward reunification.

Behind every item we provide is a child who deserves to feel safe, valued, and cared for during what may be one of the hardest times in their young life. Because of community partners like Walmart, we can continue showing these children that they are not forgotten and that their community cares. 💕

When this little one was taken into care by DCF I immediately jumped into action to make sure they didnt sit in the office without some items of comfort. I was told they like stuffed animals so we made sure to include a few different kinds. Because of YOU we were able to deliver this care package within an hour of getting the call!! Thank you for continuing to believe in our mission.

Tonight a foster family opened their hearts and home to a little bundle of joy. And because of YOU, we were able to provide them with an emergency care package filled with essentials for the little one.

These families sign up to foster but they never truly know when a child or children will need them.

Just like that, another emergency care package made and delivered for a child who entered into foster care. To see the joy on these kids faces when they realize these items are for them is priceless.

Today we received a large donation of new diapers to provide out to foster families with new placements.
Also we were notified of a sibling set that came in to care over night with nothing! 😞 I wish I could say this is rare but unfortunately it is not. Thanks to all of our donors, YOU, we were able to immediately pack up 2 duffle bags worth of new clothes, shoes & socks, hygiene items And a handmade teddy bear 🧸 and a handmade blanket for each. These items were dropped off to the licensing agency, where the kids still are due to finding a home for them. If any of you are interested in opening your home to a child(ren) in need reach out and we can point you in the right direction.
