We are in search of a twin bed, bed frame, and microwave to assist the Guardian ad Litem 7th Circuit. They have a relative caregiver who took in a teen who needs a bed to sleep on and a microwave to warm up food during the day. The items can be picked up in the Daytona Beach area. Some posts are harder to write than others.

On May 31, 2026, the founder of 1 Ohana 1 Community Inc. and her family experienced the heartbreaking loss of her grandmother at the age of 85. She was more than a grandmother—she was a source of strength, wisdom, love, and guidance who tremendously helped shape Lauren into the woman she is today.

While our hearts are heavy, we are incredibly honored and humbled that the family requested donations to 1 Ohana 1 Community Inc. in her memory in lieu of flowers. It is a beautiful reflection of the caring, giving spirit she embodied throughout her life.

Because of this thoughtful gesture, her legacy will continue to live on through the children and families we serve.

Please keep the entire family in your thoughts during this difficult time. We are grateful for the opportunity to honor a remarkable woman whose impact will continue to be felt throughout our community for years to come.
