What an incredible couple of days at The Abiding Place Open House!

Thank you to everyone who joined us to tour the space, ask questions, and learn more about this new initiative of Dayton Dream Center. Your encouragement, support, and excitement made the event a tremendous success.

At The Abiding Place, we are reimagining how we respond to youth in care by cultivating healing from relational and developmental trauma while strengthening the environments around them. Through connection, mentorship, developmental support, regulation, and aligned care, we are creating opportunities for young people to experience belonging, growth, and long-term stability.

This video offers a glimpse into The Abiding Place and the heart behind the vision. We are excited for what God has ahead and grateful for the community that is coming alongside us to make a lasting impact in the lives of youth and families.

Together, we can help create safe, nurturing environments where young people can thrive and discover purpose and possibility.

However, anyone in the community is welcome to stop by for a FREE sack lunch from 12:00 PM–1:00 PM today. ❤️

Check out these graduates from our Roadmap 2 Recovery Program. They worked so hard to complete the Godly Relationships Course in partnership with Dr. Rhonda and Renewed Healthcare.

Roadmap 2 Recovery is designed to help individuals build a strong foundation for lasting transformation through recovery support, life skills, mentorship, faith, and healthy community connections. This program empowers participants to grow personally, spiritually, and relationally as they move toward stability and purpose.

Each certificate represents courage, healing, accountability, and hope for the future. We are incredibly proud of every graduate and grateful for the partners, mentors, and supporters who continue helping make life change possible.

We had the best time celebrating our volunteers on Friday night! If you have ever been to the DC then you know each person wearing a green shirt is a VOLUNTEER! Our volunteers choose to show up and literally make all of our programs run smoothly each week. We are so grateful for the team that Jesus has given us and honestly, we think we have the best! ☺️
