✂️ DAYTON STYLISTS & BARBERS — COULD YOU GIVE ONE MONDAY? ✂️

DC Kuts is looking for licensed hairstylists, cosmetologists, and barbers to provide free haircuts for guests at the Dayton Dream Center.

Worried that volunteering means committing every Monday? It doesn’t!

You can help:

✂️ One Monday
✂️ Once a month
✂️ Occasionally, when your schedule allows

DC Kuts serves guests on Mondays from 10:45 AM–2:00 PM.

Volunteers bring their professional tools—clippers, shears, edgers, etc.—and we provide the space and everything else needed to serve.

A haircut can restore confidence, dignity, and the feeling that someone truly cares. đź’š

At the Dayton Dream Center, we believe there’s something powerful about gathering around a table. DC Diner is more than a free meal—it’s a place to connect, be welcomed, and know that you belong. Whether you’re coming for a good meal, good conversation, or simply a place to spend time with others, there’s a seat for you. DC Diner is free and open to everyone in our community. Join us Mondays from 12:00–1:00 PM, Wednesdays from 5:30–6:30 PM, and Saturdays from 1:00–2:00 PM at 2720 E. Third St., Dayton.

Three times each week, the Dayton Dream Center opens our doors and invites the community to come together for a free meal. There are no complicated requirements and no need to wonder whether you’re welcome—you are. Come as you are, bring a friend or neighbor, enjoy a meal, and get to know some of the people who make our Dayton community special. Monday 12:00–1:00 PM | Wednesday 5:30–6:30 PM | Saturday 1:00–2:00 PM.

Know someone who could use a good meal and some good company? Invite them to DC Diner—and come with them! Our community meals are free, open to everyone, and designed to be a welcoming place where neighbors can sit down together, share a meal, and build relationships. You don’t have to be receiving another Dayton Dream Center service to join us. You don’t need a special invitation. If you’re part of our community, there’s a place for you at our table. Come see us Monday, Wednesday, or Saturday at the Dayton Dream Center.

Sometimes a meal can be the beginning of something more—a conversation, a friendship, a connection, or simply the reminder that you belong here. That’s the heart behind DC Diner at the Dayton Dream Center. We serve free community meals three days each week, but what we’re really building is a place where people can gather and feel welcome. Whether it’s your first visit or we already know you by name, we’d love to have you at the table. Everyone is welcome. Every meal is free. Community happens when we show up for one another.

DC Diner at the Dayton Dream Center provides free community meals every Monday from 12:00–1:00 PM, Wednesday from 5:30–6:30 PM, and Saturday from 1:00–2:00 PM. But you’ll find more than food when you arrive. You’ll find people ready to welcome you, opportunities to connect, and a community that believes everyone deserves to be treated with dignity and care. A haircut may seem like a small thing, but for someone walking through a difficult season, it can mean confidence, dignity, and feeling cared for. đź’š

Our DC Kuts program is URGENTLY SEEKING LICENSED VOLUNTEER STYLISTS who are willing to share their time and talent with our guests on Mondays from 10:45 AM–2:00 PM.

You bring your skills and your tools — clippers, shears, edgers, etc. — and the Dayton Dream Center will provide everything else needed to serve.

Whether you can volunteer regularly or simply help when your schedule allows, WE'D LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU!
