What a blessing it was to celebrate alongside Dr. Rhonda and Divine Core Transformation at the 2026 Gala - The Awakening.

The Dayton Dream Center is deeply honored to have received a Shared Mission Partner Sponsor Award. The evening's theme, Releasing the Past and Rising to Purpose, resonated deeply with the work we see God doing every day in the lives of those we serve.

We were encouraged by the powerful speakers, inspired by stories of transformation, and reminded that when organizations unite around a shared mission, lives are changed and hope is restored.

What started as a dream has become a movement powered by volunteers, partners, donors, staff, and community members who believe that everyone deserves to be seen, valued, and supported.

Over the past four years, we've shared meals, provided resources, built relationships, created opportunities, and witnessed countless stories of transformation. None of it would have been possible without the incredible community that stands beside us.

🎒 Help Us Fill Hundreds of Backpacks Before August 1st! 📚

We're getting ready for our 3rd Annual Back 2 School Bash on **August 1, 2026**, and we need your help!

Hundreds of local children will receive school supplies to help them start the school year prepared, confident, and ready to succeed. We are still collecting much-needed school supplies and are looking for individuals, businesses, churches, and community organizations to partner with us.

Current needs include:
✏️ Markers - 463
✏️ Colored Pencils - 510
📓 Single Subject Notebooks - 930
✂️ Kids Scissors - 420
📁 3-Prong Folders with Pockets - 665
🖍️ Crayons - 550

Our goal is to raise approximately **$4,000 in supplies** to meet the needs of the children and families we serve.

Every donation—whether it's a single item, a full case, or sponsorship of an entire supply category—helps make a difference.

🤝 Stronger Together: Reaching Neighbors, Building Hope

We are proud to have joined the Montgomery County Drug Free Coalition, local law enforcement agencies, Project DAWN, and other community partners during the recent GROW Blitz in Miamisburg. Together, we connected with residents, shared vital resources, and helped expand access to addiction recovery, mental health support, and overdose prevention tools.

Partnerships like these demonstrate what is possible when organizations unite around a common goal: creating healthier, safer, and more hopeful communities.

What an incredible couple of days at The Abiding Place Open House!

Thank you to everyone who joined us to tour the space, ask questions, and learn more about this new initiative of Dayton Dream Center. Your encouragement, support, and excitement made the event a tremendous success.

At The Abiding Place, we are reimagining how we respond to youth in care by cultivating healing from relational and developmental trauma while strengthening the environments around them. Through connection, mentorship, developmental support, regulation, and aligned care, we are creating opportunities for young people to experience belonging, growth, and long-term stability.

This video offers a glimpse into The Abiding Place and the heart behind the vision. We are excited for what God has ahead and grateful for the community that is coming alongside us to make a lasting impact in the lives of youth and families.
