Day 9 of Pride Month

Please join us in honoring Lee Perry, also known as his drag persona Leigh Montgomery. He was a prominent LGBTQ+ community leader, activist, and realtor. He served on the board of the Greater Dayton LGBT Center and was once a chair for the annual Dayton Pride parade. He was also the founder of Identify, an advocacy group specifically to help Black gay men be seen, heard, and affirmed in the Dayton region. On September 7, 2025, his life journey transitioned at the age of 65. Please join us in honoring Jocelyn Robinson. She is a producer, radio preservationist, and the director of the Center for Radio Preservation & Archives at WYSO public radio. She is also a Community Voices producer at WYSO and an AIR New Voices Scholar. Her recent audio work has included West Dayton Stories at WYSO which portrays the stories of many people within the city including those within the LGBTQ+ community, and as an independent producer has contributed to the Goethe-Institut USA podcast The Big Ponder and WHYY’s The Pulse .

He is the Founder & CEO of PDM Consulting, a multi-purpose consulting firm focused on the power of Black people, LGBTQ+ people, and young people. In his 10+ years of legal and policy experience, Preston has served in multiple roles at nonprofit organizations to center the voices of historically oppressed communities.
