Reminder that we have THREE lunch talks this week! Join us today for an in-person lunch talk with Dr. Daryani, Dr. Padilla, Dr. Rivers, and Dr. Brenner in collaboration with Roo University, an online platform where relief veterinarians can find work.

On Thursday, we will be joined by Dr. Joel Conn, DVM, a 2006 UCD SVM grad and the owner of Pismo Beach Veterinary Clinic and PETS Hospital. Dr. Conn will be diving into the impact of AI and the ever-changing technology landscape as it relates to concurrent changes in our profession.

Finally, on Friday, we will be welcoming Dr. Fetherston. This discussion explores how advanced general practice can intentionally expand their clinical scope while maintaining ethical standards, improve patient access, strengthen independent hospitals, and increase professional autonomy. We’ll address mentorship, training pathways, skills development, ethical considerations, how expanding your capabilities can expand both your impact and your career opportunities, and why passion for lifelong learning is essential.

See you there!
