Neighbors — the 2026 Zombie Bike Parade Festival map just dropped! Sat Oct 31 in Davis, all FREE: costumed bike parade 11am, BMX stunt show, free Halloween train, $1,000 in costume gift cards, and costumed skydivers at 2:30pm. Everyone's welcome — ride, walk or just come watch. All for NorCal Trykers. 🧟🚲

Thank you, Lucas Frerichs and thank you Sheila Allen for making this possible! They helped us keep the train rides free for the community and we decided to dub this train the Toys For Tots Halloween train! Toys For Tots staff will be present talking about their mission. Consider bringing out a new toy to donate to Toys For Tots. Toys go to families and need during Christmas. Toys for teenagers are often most needed. All that community park all during the Zombie bike Parade Halloweekend Festival.

🧟 WHERE DID THE ZOMBIE BIKE PARADE COME FROM? Before the thousands of costumes, the festival, the entertainment, the skydiving zombies and the Halloween madness… there was an idea.

And that idea first sparked in the brain of one particularly infamous Davis zombie: Dave Rosenberg. 🧠

Dave and Lea Rosenberg helped brew the original formula for what would become one of Davis' most beloved Halloween traditions: create a completely FREE community celebration, bring people together in wonderfully weird Davis fashion, and use it to do some genuine good.

That good became support for NorCal Trykers, which builds custom adaptive tricycles for children with disabilities—giving more kids the opportunity to experience the freedom and joy of riding.

Then came the ragtag crew of Davis Odd Fellows, community organizers, volunteers, creative minds and fellow zombies who helped bring the idea to life. Aaron Wedra joined the effort alongside Sheila Allen, Jenny Decker, Matthew Elliot, Scott Schiller, David Siegel, Kevin Sitz, Nancy Schrott, Dave Reed, Timothy, Diana & Zoe Wilkinson, Dave Zavatson, Terryl Kocsis, Maria Contreras Tebbutt, Erik Vink, Alice Stewart, Dawn Student, Jim Walker and many others.

Armed with a great idea, a lot of determination and a healthy appetite for brains, they launched the inaugural Zombie Bike Parade in 2019. 🚲🧟‍♀️

And look what that little zombie has grown into.

In 2026, the Zombie Bike Parade has become a full Halloweekend Festival—with the parade, 25+ entertainment stations and attractions, live entertainment, family activities, costumes, prizes and even zombies falling out of the sky.

Through all that growth, Dave and Lea have remained major supporters of the event they helped bring to life. Their 2026 sponsorship helps us keep this celebration FREE for everyone while continuing to support NorCal Trykers.

So this one's for the originals. ❤️
