It's a day of a whole lotta fishin' and hopefully a bit of catchin', but mostly importantly showing our support for a great organization! Now that weather is cooling off it is time for our next litter pick up! As part of our continued mission to give back to the community we are looking for young volunteers to join us in Davidsonville THIS SATURDAY (24th October). Cleanup starts at 8am [meet 7:45am], leaving the rest of the day for Fall Fun! All participants must watch a short video before hand so please reach out to [email protected] if you want to be part of this event.

Only two days to go! Mr Ted and Ms Snow are ready to go! These two teddy bears are competing to complete the most miles as part of Alex's Lemonade Stand Million Mile challenge. However being teddy bears they need your help. Come out to Davidsonville Park and help keep the bears moving. Run, walk, bring the dog, whatever works for you! Pre-register through Friday evening at https://www.laceemupforlibby.org/mr-teds-relay or just come down on Saturday! Plan to be at the park anyway? Then find us at the Pavilion to help the bears to keep on moving!

September is Childhood cancer awareness month, and what is acutely aware to all of us is the devastating impact Childhood cancer continues to have on so many children and so many families. the answer? More research to finally start putting an end to it!
We have multiple events coming up that are raising funds with that mission in mind!

Major League Baseball and its Clubs will honor childhood cancer awareness across ballparks nationwide on Sunday, September 6th and throughout the month of September. Hosted during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, this MLB Together effort (MLBTogether.com) will support the cause with ceremonial and community-based activities, including outreach to local hospitals treating young patients. Nonprofit partners for Clubs include local hospital partners or organizations focused on childhood cancer, such as Stand Up To Cancer and Starlight Children’s Foundation. We have a busy fall ahead as we are back for our 8th Annual Mr Ted's Relay! Will Mr Ted retain his crown or will Ms Snow step up her game? For those that don't know. Mr Ted's relay is a competition between two of Libby's teddy bears, to see who can complete the most miles in 8 hours. But being Teddy bears they need some help.
