Inali District - Illowa Council This page is all about Inali District, one of five districts in Illowa Council, Scouting America.

Inali Covers McDonough, Warren, Knox and Stark Counties and serves approximately 225 youth across 15 units. This page is all about Inali District, now one of five districts in Illowa Council, B.S.A. Inali District was created when the Illowa Council Executive Committee consolidated Medicine Lodge and Sha Bo Sha Districts, effective on August 1, 2012. Inali District includes McDonough, War

ren, Knox, and Stark Counties in Illinois. The District currently has 52 units scattered across these four counties. At its very first meeting in August of 2012, the District Committee chose the name Inali, by looking back at its Scouting heritage. Inali was the name of the Order of the Arrow Lodge for Prairie Council, which encompassed the geographic area of the new district. Inali means black fox, traced back to the Sac and Fox tribes. The purpose of our page is to enlighten both members and leaders about people, activities, and other information concerning the District. Please keep in mind the 12 Points of the Scout Law as you post information on this site.

Thank you to the Scouts and leaders of Troop 315 Macomb for proudly presenting the colors at this week's Rotary meeting. Troop 315 is chartered by the Macomb Rotary Club, and we appreciate the strong partnership between Rotary and Scouting that helps develop young leaders in our community.
Following the flag presentation, Inali District Executive Terry Fillmer provided an update on Scouting America programs throughout McDonough County and the Inali District. The presentation highlighted the impact of local Cub Scout packs, Scouts BSA troops, and Explorer programs, as well as opportunities for community members to become volunteers, mentors, and supporters of Scouting.
Together, Rotary and Scouting continue to invest in the next generation by teaching leadership, citizenship, service, and character. Thank you to Macomb Rotary for its ongoing commitment to youth and for supporting Troop 315's mission of preparing young people to make ethical and moral choices throughout their lives.

Congratulations to our newest Eagle Scouts from former Troop 4226, now Crew 9226!

Please join us in recognizing Austin F. and Jacob S. on earning the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest achievement in Scouting. Their dedication, leadership, service to others, and commitment to the Scout Oath and Law have helped them reach this significant milestone.

Becoming an Eagle Scout requires years of hard work, perseverance, and community service. We are proud of all they have accomplished and look forward to seeing the impact they will continue to make in their communities and beyond.

Congratulations, Austin and Jacob! Your Scouting family is proud of you. 🦅

Members of Troop 332 in Macomb were recognized Sunday during a special Eagle Scout Ceremony held at Macomb City Hall, where three Scouts earned the rank of Eagle Scout — the highest achievement in Scouting America.

During the ceremony, each Scout reflected on the people who had the greatest impact on their journey. Two of the new Eagle Scouts selected Scoutmaster Heidi Benson as the person they looked up to most, while the third Scout honored his mother for her support and encouragement throughout his Scouting experience.

Congratulations to these three Scouts on earning the rank of Eagle Scout, and best wishes to each of them as they move forward into the next chapter of their lives.
