We're almost there!
The finish line is in sight for our new Restroom & Storm Refuge Facility at Camp Loud Thunder, and we need your help to get across it.
This $400,000 project will provide:
-10 private individual restrooms and shower rooms for improved comfort and privacy.
-A reinforced central storm refuge to help keep Scouts and leaders safe during severe weather.
-A lasting improvement that will serve thousands of Scouts, families, and volunteers for years to come.
Thanks to the incredible generosity of our Scouting family and community partners, we've already raised $374,000 toward our goal!
That means we have just $26,000 left to raise.
Even better, every donation will be matched dollar-for-dollar by The Howe Foundation until we reach our remaining $26,000 goal. Your gift today will have twice the impact!
We are deeply grateful to the many individuals, businesses, foundations, and organizations who have made this project possible, including the Roy J. Carver Trust, The Howe Foundation, Scott County Regional Authority, Konepaka Ketiwa Order of the Arrow, MidAmerican Energy, Bechtel Trust, Felheimer Trust, Kent Worldwide, Ascentra Foundation, and the many Scouting families and friends who have stepped forward to support this important project.
If Camp Loud Thunder has ever made a difference in your life or the life of a Scout you know, please consider making a gift today. Every dollar brings us one step closer to completing a facility that will benefit Scouts for generations.
