πŸ’šπŸ¦Ί How many hard hats would a hard hat stack
if a hard hat stacked hats in a hard hat stack? πŸ¦ΊπŸ’š

And how many volunteers can build a house when they've got the right safety gear? A whole lot!

We're not sure about the answer to the hard hat riddle, but we do know one thing. We've got a lot of brand-new hard hats thanks to the generosity of John Deere !

Thank you, John Deere, for helping us protect the people who make our mission possible.

πŸ’šπŸ’› Thank You, Johndeere ! πŸ’›πŸ’š
As we wrap up an incredible week of partnership, we want to extend our sincere thanks to John Deere and all of the employees who volunteered their time and talents to support our mission.

Over the course of the week, 116 John Deere employees contributed 334 volunteer hours helping frame walls for Habitat Houses #148 and #150, refresh our ReStore with a fresh coat of paint, improve our checkout area, and support Habitat's work throughout the Quad Cities.

More importantly, your commitment, teamwork, and enthusiasm helped move two future Habitat homes one step closer to welcoming families through their front doors.

Thank you for your continued partnership and support of Habitat. We are grateful for all that you do to help build strength, stability, and self-reliance through shelter.

We can't wait to welcome many of you back to the build site when the foundations are complete and Houses #148 and #150 are ready for framing. Until then, thank you for helping us build homes, communities, and hope.

πŸ”¨πŸ  Finishing Strong at John Deere Deere Davenport Works!

The final two volunteer groups helped bring the wall build for Habitat House #148 across the finish line and marked the conclusion of an incredible Building Our Communities Week!

Throughout the day, John Deere employees worked side-by-side to complete the framing, making sure everything was ready for its next step in the construction process. It's always inspiring to see what can be accomplished when a team comes together for a common goal.

House #148 is scheduled to break ground later this summer, and we're grateful to everyone who volunteered their time and energy to help make it happen.

A special thank you goes out to our incredible core crew volunteers, Sam, Jimmie, and Dave, who spent the day helping guide, teach, and work alongside the John Deere volunteers. Your experience, leadership, and commitment help make build days like this a success, and we are grateful for everything you do for Habitat.

Together, these four groups helped turn a stack of lumber into the framework of a future home.

As we wrap up Building Our Communities Week, we want to thank every John Deere volunteer who dedicated their time, talents, and energy to improving our ReStore and helping build future Habitat homes. Your impact will be felt throughout our community for years to come.
