🔨🏡 Learning the Tools of Homeownership! 🏡🔨

Our newest Habitat partner families recently took an important first step toward becoming homeowners. Learning how to use some of the tools they’ll encounter while helping build their future homes!

During their first Tools Class, families got hands-on experience using a circular saw, drill, and hammer while learning important safety tips and basic construction skills. 🛠️

After getting comfortable with the tools, the families toured Habitat House #146 to see the construction process up close! They learned how the home is framed and got a firsthand look at how the skills they’re learning will help them when it’s time to work on their own future homes.

We love seeing our partner families gain confidence, learn new skills, and take another step toward the dream of homeownership! 💚🏠
