Our next meeting will be June 13th at the Pepping's house. From 1 till 5 we will be wet polishing rocks. Meeting will start at 5. These will be slabs and bigger rocks. We will have rocks and slabs for you to pick from. There will be rocks at no charge or you can purchase extra rocks. If you have your own rock you want cut (Less than 6" across) or have a rock you want to polish that is already cut you are welcome to bring it. Please give everyone a chance to polish a rock. One at a time. If everyone gets one done and there is still time you can do another. Since we have around 6 polishers we will also have fossil snails that you can clean with Dremel's and take home and we will have tagua nuts( vegetable ivory) if you want to try and carve something. There will be snacks and water. Any other drinks please bring. Bring a lawn chair. We will provide a plastic apron but make sure you wear clothes that you can get wet. YOU WILL GET WET!!!! Silent Auction at the end of the meeting. The theme of the meeting will be what we polished. If it rains we will reschedule at a later date. Please RSVP so we know how many people are coming. We might have to limit depending on how many people we have that want to wet polish. We want to make sure everyone that comes gets a chance to wet polish.
