Family Resources is a nonprofit founded in 1849 with a mission to support successful lives to build strong communities. Family Resources offers services in 11 counties in eastern Iowa and western Illinois including counseling and therapy, behavioral health intervention services, child welfare emergency services and Iowa Aftercare services. Comprehensive services are also available to survivors of domestic abuse, sexual abuse, human trafficking, homicide and other violent crimes.

💙🎉A very heartfelt thank you and happy retirement to one of our beloved psychologists, Sieg Hoppe. He has dedicated nearly three decades to supporting individuals, families, our community, and has impacted hundreds of lives along the way.

At Family Resources, we wish you a very happy & exciting new chapter! It's not goodbye, it's "see you around!"

📝Below is a letter written by Sieg!📝

"Reflecting on my nearly 29 years with the Clinical Department and entire Family Resources team, I can honestly say it’s been an incredible journey that has truly changed my life. Together, we have achieved significant milestones in advancing our trauma-informed care and built a therapeutic team I’m truly proud of.

However, every great journey has its next chapter. I am moving on to new adventures and will retire, effective September 8.

I am certain that the talented people who continue this work will carry our mission forward, upholding the teamwork, exceptional standards, compassion, and dedication that have always defined Family Resources.

Thank you for the memories and for being part of this amazing ride. It has been an honor to serve our clients as your colleague and friend.

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Join us for Fall Pumpkin Fest on October 17 | 1-5 PM at Bent River Brewing Company in Rock Island.

Enjoy pumpkin painting, pet paint station, pup cups, fall photo booth, raffle baskets, local vendors, and more while supporting a meaningful cause.

1 in 4 women and 1 in 10 men experience severe intimate partner violence in their lifetime. 50% of survivors will not leave an unsafe situation due to fear & harm of their family pet. 🐶 🐈

Proceeds from Fall Pumpkin Fest support Family Resources' free and confidential domestic abuse services, including legal advocacy, counseling, housing & medical advocacy, pet safety assistance, and more.
