Our hearts are heavy as we come together in the wake of the tragic loss of seven members of our community. This act of violence has shaken Muscatine deeply, leaving grief, confusion, and pain in its wake. We mourn the lives lost, and we hold their families, friends, classmates, colleagues, and all who have been affected in our thoughts.
Incidents like this are difficult to process. Many are feeling a wide range of emotionsโshock, sadness, anger, and fear. Please know that whatever you are feeling is valid, and you do not have to navigate this alone. As a community, we are strongest when we come together to support one another with compassion and care.
