Food will be available for purchase, cash only and table games to play as well. You do not need a ticket to attend, please come and support us and the Gao Grotto. See you all TOMORROW!

Rowan got his Amtryke today. He and his parents came to Danville from over by Bloomington to pick it up. He was so excited to have his very own Amtryke and to go back home so they could all go riding together. Enjoy your new wheels Rowan.

It's a great day to be an AMBUC. It was a perfect morning to deliver sweet little Sawyer's Amtryke. Sawyer was so excited to ride this morning. Every time his mom turned around and walked back towards the house he would start to cry. He was so afraid his Amtryke time was over. Sawyer is only 2 years old. He has plenty of room to grow and ride his ProSeries 1410 for several years. Happy riding little man.

A little rain and a snip it of winter didn't stop us from delivering an Amtryke this afternoon. Collin had outgrown his first Amtryke and was well overdue for an upgrade. That's what's so great about AMBUCS and our Amtryke program. We refurbish the Amtrykes and pass them along to another rider. Collin can't wait to take his new to him Amtryke to the campground. We will refurbish Collin's Amtryke and pass it along to a younger child. Happy riding Collin.

Hey Hey AMBUCS Friends. We've got some fun and exciting VOLUNTEER opportunities coming up.

1. Wednesday, November 4 we will meet at the Carlton Party Barn to work on switch adapting the remaining toys for the AMBUCS Christmas Party. We will be there from 5:30-maybe 8:00.....or as long as you can stay. 🙂 NO EXPERIENCE OR ELECTRICAL/MECHANICAL skills necessary. We will set up stations to complete the 30+ toys. We will need folks to open all the toys, test all the toys, put batteries in all the toys, drill a hole in the toys, cut wires in the toys, solder the new wires, open switches, test them, pack back up the toys.....so much to do! We can use all hands-on deck. If you have any questions or want to RSVP (not necessary) reach out to Lori Lyons or post here.
2. Wednesday, December 2 we will meet at the Carlton Party Barn to wrap the many AMBUCS Christmas gifts for the upcoming AMBUCS Christmas Party. We will have 100+ gifts to wrap....including the switch adapted toys. We will be there from 5:30-maybe 8:00...or however long it takes. We will have wrapping paper, bags, bows, tape, and labels. Please bring scissors.

Most likely, there will be snacks and drinks along with fantastic fellowship. I hope we’ll see you there!

And.....another happy rider. Lucy had outgrown her current AmTryke. She was so excited to take off down the drive on her 1420XL. Lucy was quite happy to know that her old Amtryke would be passed down to a younger rider....preferably a little girl was the request. ❤️

Hello fellow AMBUCS!

We will be holding our monthly meeting at Sarge's this Wednesday, the 7th of October at Noon. We have had another exciting month since we last convened, including 50/50 at the rodeo, Super Soccer weekends, and planning for the Fall raffle, as well as planning for a few more events for our AMBUCS kids.

Our speaker this week will be Natalie Duncan, the executive director of the Danville Library Foundation. She’ll be discussing the legacy of the Danville Library Foundation, exciting programming the foundation has funded recently, as well as some new projects within the library that AMBUCS kids will benefit from.

Come on out for food and fellowship! Remember, as always, you can order Sarge's food ahead of time, I've attached the menu below.

It was a great weekend to be an AMBUC. Saturday morning I delivered an Amtryke to sweet sweet Claire. She was so happy to ride her bike.
Then Sunday afternoon I delivered an Amtryke to handsome Yair. He was beyond excited to get a bike.
Last Saturday my rockstar friend, Rylan rode his Amtryke in the Tri My Best Adapted Triathlon at Washington University in St. Louis.
Amtrykes truly do make a difference in the life of a child and their families.
