Safe families is seeking a host for a 2 month old, 1 year old and three year old, all boys. Mom is a single mom with no family or support and is suffering from post-pardum depression. She is asking for a 1 month hosting for the opportunity to restore her mental health and find a job. The boys can be separated.

UPDATE: We have potential hosts lined up for the 2 month old and 1 year old and have a pending ask out for the three year old.
Mom does prefer the 1 year old and three year old stay together, but is aware that it may not be possible.

UPDATE: This need has been fulfilled.

M., a single mom living in Champaign County, reached out to Safe Families for help. The father of her children was recently incarcerated and she has been left juggling work, finances and her children all by herself. She is feeling alone and overwhelmed. M. has three children, two of which Safe Families can serve. The two oldest names are A. (13) and A. (9). The girls are struggling missing their dad. Magy reports they've been very emotional, but they are managing. A (13) likes to draw and sketch and loves tacos and pizza and A (9) is all girl and likes to do makeup and likes spaghetti.

M. is seeking support through a family friend and day hostings. Just a few hours in the evening or on the weekends to give her the opportunity to either destress or run errands.

M. also has a five year old girl named A. who is non-verbal autistic, Safe Families has referred her to the Illinois Respite Coalition for support for A (5).

Girls can be separated and you do not need to live in Champaign County.
