🌟 CHANGING LIVES OUTREACH CENTER

VOLUNTEER SPOTLIGHT: HONORING THE MAN BEHIND THE SCENES! 💙

Some of the greatest contributions are made by people who never seek recognition, applause, or the spotlight.

Today, I want to take a moment to recognize someone who has been a tremendous source of support to Changing Lives Outreach Center—my husband!

Many people see the work we do in the community, but they don’t always see the people behind the scenes who help make it possible.

Recently, Changing Lives received a brand-new commercial refrigerator for our Community Center. When it arrived, several people were convinced it would never fit through our doors.

But my husband saw a challenge that needed a solution!

Despite working third shift and long 12-hour shifts, he took time off from work, traveled from North Carolina to Virginia, gathered a team of men, and put his 20 years of warehouse management experience to work.

And guess what? They got that refrigerator inside our Community Center! 🙌🏾

Mission accomplished!

But here’s the part that truly touches my heart. After helping make it happen, he drove back to North Carolina and went to work for another 12-hour shift!

And this is just ONE example of what he does.

From lending his expertise and helping solve problems to giving his time, making annual financial contributions, and stepping in whenever Changing Lives needs support, he continues to demonstrate what it means to serve with commitment and compassion.

Beyond his contributions to the organization, he is also one of the people who helps keep me grounded as I carry the responsibilities of leadership.

He doesn’t need a title, a position, or public recognition to make a difference. He simply sees a need and helps get the job done.

Today, I want to publicly say THANK YOU!

Thank you for the sacrifices, the long hours, the financial support, the problem-solving, and the countless things you do that others may never know about.

Your contributions have not gone unnoticed, and they are deeply appreciated.

Changing Lives Outreach Center is stronger because of dedicated individuals like you who believe in the mission and are willing to put action behind their support.

🍂🦃 HARVESTING HOPE & HEALTH — HELP US BLESS OUR COMMUNITY! ❤️💚💛

This Thanksgiving season, Changing Lives Outreach Center CDC is coming together to spread food, health, hope, and opportunity throughout our community!

On Saturday, November 21st, we are preparing to serve approximately 400 individuals and families, and we need YOUR help to make this special event a success! 🙌🏾

❤️ WE ARE SEEKING FOOD DONATIONS!

We’re asking our community partners, churches, businesses, organizations, and individuals to help provide:

🦃 4 Turkeys (cooked or frozen)
🍽️ 4 Full Pans of Stuffing or Dressing
🥬 2 Full Pans of Green Beans or Other Vegetables
🌽 2 Full Pans of Corn
🥖 Dinner Rolls
🥧 Cakes, Pies & Assorted Desserts
🥤 Drinks (Water, Tea, Juice, etc.)

Every donation matters! Whether you provide one item or sponsor an entire portion of the meal, your generosity will help us bring families together and ensure our neighbors experience the warmth of community this Thanksgiving.
