The North Texas theater community is in shock after two rising actors who colleagues called  “the future” died this week.  Madi Duren, 22, and her partner, Julian Harris, 23 died  after a car accident on Garland Road in Dallas. Both recently graduated from the theater program at Southern Met...

Heartbroken.

Mourning the loss of one of our ABSENTEE family, Julian Harris, and his partner Madi Duren (who was one of our tour guides for SAFE AT HOME) in a tragic car accident this week. Both mad talented artists at the very beginning of their careers- wicked smart, genuinely kind, and funny as hell - who lit up any room they entered. We are so so grateful for the time we had with each of them.

Yet another blow in a week of loss for our arts community.

Sending love to THE ABSENTEE cast & crew, and all of their friends and family navigating this tragedy.

Godspeed, friends.
