This Warrior Wednesday we want you to meet Wyatt💙💙

Wyatt is 6 years old and was diagnosed with B-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in July 2024. His mom Alysia first noticed his belly looked swollen around the Fourth of July. She thought it might be a stomach issue and kept an eye on it. When Wyatt went to visit family in New Mexico and she saw him over FaceTime, she knew something was not right. She made an appointment just to check.

That one appointment changed everything. By 5 PM that same day, an oncology team was already waiting for Wyatt at Children's Medical Dallas. He was officially diagnosed the next morning and started his first treatment that same day. A spinal tap, chemo in the spine, a bone marrow biopsy, and port placement. All at 6 years old.

What has kept his family going through all of it? Wyatt himself. His mom put it best: "Watching your child fight every single day with a SMILE on their face."

Wipe Out Kids Cancer has been with the family since the very first day of their diagnosis and we are honored to share his story. Please share this post and help us show Wyatt and his family how much support they have behind them.

Have you been following us on our Journey to the Bell? đź”” Welcome. Grab a seat. Things are about to get real.

Journey to the Bell is WOKC’s awareness campaign and it is about so much more than one child’s diagnosis. It is about the mom who quit her job to be at the hospital every single day. The dad running on three hours of sleep and gas station coffee. The little sibling who just wants their brother or sister to come home. The grandparents, the teachers, the friends, the entire village that gets shaken when a child gets cancer. This campaign is for ALL of them.

So we hit the streets. Literally. We walked into North Park Mall with a camera and some big pediatric cancer questions and asked our community what they knew.

Here is the thing though. It’s not our communities fault that they don’t know all the right answers. That is a sign that the conversation is not happening loudly enough. And THAT is exactly what drives us. We are not waiting for awareness to come to us. We are going out and creating it ourselves, one real human conversation at a time.

These kids deserve a world that knows their fight. And we are going to keep showing up until it does.

This week’s Warrior Wednesday belongs to Weston! 🦖💚

At 4 years old, Weston was diagnosed with leukemia. Doctors found that 52% of his blood was leukemia cells. His family sat in a hospital room and heard words that completely changed their lives. And yet somehow, through all of it, this little boy kept laughing, kept playing, and kept showing up with that big smile every single day.

He reached remission and is still fighting. His family wants every family in this battle to know they are not alone.

Share his story this week. 🎗️

For this week’s Warrior Wednesday, we have Devin 🕷️💙

Devin is strong, goofy, and fully convinced he’s Spiderman. And honestly, he might be right. At just 3 years old, he has shown a level of resilience that inspires everyone around him. Little does he know, he’s the strongest superhero any of us have ever seen.

His family shares how much it has meant to not feel alone on this journey, to be surrounded by a community that truly understands, and to be able to create memories together along the way.

We are so honored to stand beside Devin and his family and to share his story with all of you đź’›

There’s a cost people don’t talk about.

Not the hospital bill.
The life bill.

Parents missing work.
Traveling for treatment.
Choosing between bills.

This is the part most families are not prepared for.

And it’s where support matters most.

You’re not just giving…
You’re helping a family breathe again.

Which one surprised you the most?

For this week’s Warrior Wednesday, we have Mabel 💕

Mabel is a bright light with the sweetest spirit and so much strength. After being diagnosed with leukemia just after her third birthday, she has faced treatment with incredible courage and resilience. Through it all, she continues to bring joy to everyone around her, whether she is singing, dancing, or spending time with the people she loves.

Her family shares how much community and support have meant during this journey, reminding us that no one should have to face childhood cancer alone.

We are so honored to stand beside Mabel and her family and to share her story with all of you
