The holiday season is about giving, and The Dane Foundation is making sure individuals with disabilities, and their families experience the magic of Christmas!

For 20 years, this incredible nonprofit has been making a difference in the lives of individuals with physical and developmental disabilities. Through its annual Project Elf program, the organization helps more than 750 individuals and their families each holiday season, providing everything from everyday necessities to special Christmas wishes. With the help of generous donors, community partners, and volunteers, The Dane Foundation continues to spread hope, kindness, and holiday cheer to those who need it most.

Last night, I had the honor of serving as a keynote speaker at the WEAN Charlotte 10th Anniversary Raw Beauty, Real Stories Art & Advocacy Gala. 💜✨

Standing before a room filled with powerful women, advocates, and changemakers, I was reminded that our stories carry purpose. I had the opportunity to share my journey—from the little girl doctors were uncertain about to the woman I am today, proudly representing as Ms. Wheelchair USA 2026–2027.

My story is bigger than a crown or a title. It is about representation, inclusion, faith, resilience, and creating spaces where people of every do ability are understood, included, and seen.

Thank you to WEAN Charlotte for allowing me to share my story and be part of such a beautiful evening celebrating raw beauty, authentic stories, and advocacy.

This is only the beginning.
