As many of you know, on Wednesday, September 30, 2026 Klein’s Pharmacy closed and transferred all of our patients' prescriptions to Walgreens, 2645 State Rd., CF 44223. The Falls Cancer Club had not been notified previously and we were caught unaware. We apologize to our patients for this time of transition and any challenges that you may have encountered.

As of October 7, 2026 the Falls Cancer Club has come to an agreement with New Choice Pharmacy, 1900 23rd St., CF 44223, 330.971.7393 (located within Western Reserve Hospital) for all of our patients' prescription, medical equipment, nutritional supplement and incontinence products. We feel that this is the correct choice for our patients. New Choice will start working on getting the prescriptions transferred from Walgreens and will try to make this as comfortable a change as possible.

Again, we apologize for the challenges our patients have had to endure during this change, and believe that New Choice will be a good pharmacy for our patients' needs.

We had a visit from the Forsaken Defenders at our October meeting. Brian Main, Ken Cooper and Akos Cserhati presented President Pat Chula and Incoming President Bonnie Severt with a check to help our patients. We are thankful for their donation but were saddened to hear that their group has determined it was time to disband. We wish all of them a safe journey into their next adventures.

Time to pick out your horse's name and come out for a great dinner. There is a lot of laughter, good food and great company at this BYOB party. It's always fun when the announcer calls out all the crazy horse names during the race, so be sure to name your horse something extraordinary!

Cascade Auto Group Subaru has donated to our patients in the past and our patients really appreciate their care and concern.

Today Cascade Subaru donated blankets and patient care boxes to the Falls Cancer Club Inc. Subarus program Subaru Loves to Care allows us to donate and try to help in the lives of cancer patients. Over 550,000 cancer patients will be supported by Cascade and all the other Subaru Retailers ! We are in the business of community and hope to help anywhere we can !

There will be a Dine and Donate event at Aladdin's Portage Crossing, 1991 Portage Trail on Monday, June 22nd. Aladdins will donate 10% of all sales of dine-in and carry-out (but not Door Dash or Uber Eats) sales that day. Eat healthy, help support our cancer patients and enjoy a great meal (or snack).
