We have 30 deliveries to some hard working families that need a little helping hand today and then we are off duty for at least a few days.

Thank you once again to everyone involved in any way shape or form. I can’t say it enough, all of you who generously give to help the kids, the wonderful staff at the agencies we help and the amazing families that open their hearts and homes to provide kids a safe and loving haven are my true heroes. It reminds me there is good in this crazy world.

In order to make a difference, you have to be willing to be part of the difference

A very Merry Christmas to you, your families and all your fur babies as well!

Another big delivery for the kids completed!

We have a very busy day of deliveries to some individual families on Christmas Eve and then we will be off duty!

Another big thank you to our friends at Hall of Fame Harley for their continued support. Both as a company and especially many of their individual employees band together to assist us with one of our greatest needs, gift cards for the teenagers as well as emergency situations when kids come into the system with nothing and need clothing and/or shoes right away.

Each year we donate thousands of dollars worth of gift cards to our friends at Caring for Kids for whatever need may arise.

A huge delivery today!!!! A ton of wish lists fulfilled along with an amazing amount of gift cards.

This is of course in addition to all the bike deliveries already made and our continued vocational scholorship donations for youth who want to continue their education as they age out of the system.

Delivery week is in full force!!!!

I may not be rich, but I put my heart and soul into this trying to help as many kids as possible.

I thank all of you wonderful friends organizations and businesses that assist in this mission. It’s a constant reminder to me that there is still good in this world and that humanity can come together for a cause of great need that transcends politics, race and religion. It’s about good people doing great things for those who need a helping hand.

We would like to send out a huge thank you to the great folks at the
Gas Workers Union Local G-555 Akron District for their kind and generous donation for the kids.

For several years our friend Heather Lyell Shaw and her wonderful co-workers have sponsored a ton of wonderful kids and donated funds to help with gift cards for the teenagers

I would like to once again thank these wonderful organizations and businesses who are not only amazing in their own rights at what they do, but care enough to give back to their communities and help others.

We also want to thank all of you wonderful individuals who have shared our posts, donated and/or sponsored a child or bought individual items. We simply could not cover as many kids wishes as we do.

Every child on the list is a child in the foster care system. I have had the pleasure of meeting and speaking with many businesses and organizations that have been so compassionate, kind and generous.

Along the way I met with a few that told me I was being overly ambitious with my goals and that children in foster care didn’t need to have brand new items that other kids receive. Those types of ignorant, simple minded statements just stoked my fires to make sure these kids who have endured so much are every bit as important as any other child. They are worthy of love, a safe home and the gifts that are being bestowed upon them.

The second wave of deliveries to the agencies begins this week!

We absolutely love working with our extended Caring for Kids, Inc family!

We have been working with them for almost 10 years now, we have never worked with a more consistent, dedicated and caring team!

What a great story!!

To hear a young man say that he feels safe and loved after having been in group homes for so long……what a beautiful moment.

💜 November is National Adoption Month💜

While celebrating National Adoption Month, we want to shine a spotlight on the incredible partnership we have with the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption. The Foundation recently shared a beautiful example of foster care adoption through Sean's story, highlighting the work of our Wendy’s Wonderful Kids recruiter, Kirstie. CFK is proud to implement the Foundation’s WWK program in Northeast Ohio.

Through Kirstie's dedication, compassion, and tireless advocacy, she has found forever families for children who would have otherwise lingered in foster care. Now they are in loving, stable homes.

Stories like Sean’s remind us why we do what we do and why adoption is such a powerful gift.
