We donā€™t call Turtle Trail for nothing! This eastern box turtle (Terrapene carolina carolina) was spotted behind Wildrock heading up the trail. Remember, box turtles belong in nature. If you see one on the road (which is especially common after rain) and can safely move it in the direction itā€™s heading, do that! Do NOT relocate it or take it home as a pet. šŸ¢
