📣 IMPORTANT UPDATE: FIELD DAY HAS BEEN MOVED TO TOMORROW, MAY 19.

We know that this is very short notice, but with the inclement weather that is predicted for Friday as well as on our rain date in addition to the other events scheduled for our last weeks, we feel this is the best plan.

If you were scheduled to volunteer and are still able to do so, we would greatly appreciate your help. If you were not scheduled to volunteer but are available to come, we would love to have you join us — the more the merrier! Please contact [email protected] to let us know you can volunteer.

Brownsville's Field Day is just around the corner on Friday, May 22nd!

💛🍎 It's Brownsville Teacher Appreciation Week! 🍎💙

This week, we’re celebrating our outstanding Brownsville teachers and staff! 💫 Let’s come together as a community to show our appreciation and make it a truly special week!

Here's how you can help:

🎉 BIG GOAL: Gift Cards!
Thanks to your generosity, we’ve collected about 65 gift cards so far toward our goal of 110 gift cards total! 🎉 We’re getting close, but we need your help to cross the finish line by the end of the week so every staff member can feel the love. Easy online options are available (check out our Amazon Wish List), and we especially love supporting our local Crozet businesses!

As we look ahead to Teacher Appreciation Week the week of April 27 - May 1, we’re excited to celebrate our incredible Brownsville teachers and share simple, meaningful ways that students and parents can show their gratitude for all they do each day for our Bees!

We would love your help in making this week extra special.

Kids Night Out at Brownsville is back—Camp4Real style!

🗓 Friday, May 1 | 6:00–9:00 PM

Join Camp4Real for an exciting three-hour drop-off event, featuring action-packed P.E. games, engaging activities, and authentic connection—all led by Scotty Williams and Jamie Beeler! It’s the perfect opportunity for your kids to stay active, make new friends, and experience the Camp4Real fun right at your own school!

And we’ve got dinner covered—we’ll be serving Roots! Kids are also welcome to bring a packed meal if they’d prefer.

Plus, a portion of the event proceeds goes directly to the PTC and its ongoing support of the school community.

Registration closes on Wednesday, April 29 at 11:59 PM. Please note that late registrations and walk-up registrations will no longer be accepted.
