We are proud to be hosting the Indiana Baptist Disaster Relief these past two weeks, which also includes teams from Georgia, Oklahoma, Missouri, and other states. Some state conventions have sent funds to Indiana DR to help out. This is one of those times that SBC churches show the value of cooperation. It is almost unfathomable to understand the widespread damage from this storm.

Some teams have left; others have arrived. Others will replace them next week as the operation will move to Valparaiso Baptist Church because of scheduling conflicts in our building.

A separate incident command is also set up in La Porte for this storm as well as downstate for the flooding. Hundreds of SBC volunteers are out around the state right now helping people.

We are planning to host the Indiana Disaster Relief team next week as they come to help clean up after the storms. If you are trained, please reach out to the correct people.

Attention Indiana volunteers, we have suffered a catastrophic wind storm in the north west covering about five communities. We need volunteers starting the week of the 17th working in Northern Indiana out of East Lake Baptist Church Marrillville In. If you can serve on a shower laundry unit on a feeding team in incident command or on a chainsaw team, please contact Butch Porter at 618-499~2215
