☀️ Good Morning from Iowa City! ☀️

At the First Responder Center for Excellence, we don’t just preach about health and wellness—we practice it.

This morning, our Managing Director, Chief Frank Leeb, and Program Specialist, Mathew Riback, started the day with a workout before registration opens for the 2026 Mental Wellness Symposium and tonight’s Opening Reception at Kinnick Stadium.

Health and wellness isn’t just something we teach. It’s something we strive to incorporate into our own lives every day.

Who’s getting a workout in today?

Springing into Action is not just what happens on a call.

It is also about the people who choose to step up and support the work behind the scenes.

Training, health and wellness programs, research, and long-term support for first responders do not happen on their own. They are made possible by those who understand the demands of the job and the importance of protecting the people who do it.

If you have done the job, you know.
If you support someone who has, you see it.

Help support the people behind the response.
