Extension faculty from the University of Florida, the University of Georgia and Florida A&M University are coming together to provide the latest updates in organic vegetable production. Please spread the word with your network and interested producers!
This program will feature a series of brief, informative presentations by the researchers covering topics such as whitefly management, companion planting, the economics of organic production, and strategies for improving soil health in organic vegetable systems. The event will take place on Friday, September 25th at the North Florida Research and Education Center – Suwannee Valley in Live Oak, FL.
You will have the chance to visit field plots, participate in hands-on learning stations, and enjoy a complimentary lunch with fellow growers and professionals. Whether you are a grower, researcher, or just interested in organic practices, this event offers valuable insights and tools you can use.
Since this event will have an outdoor component, please wear comfortable shoes, bring a hat, and a water bottle. If you have any food allergies, please email [email protected] by September 21st.
