Men and Family events for discipleship and family growth and encouragement. Set an alarm on your watch, cellphone, or smart calendar to remind you to pray each day at 2:25. There are several creative ways to be reminded to pray specifically for your spouse and marriage: Use a wedding march as your alarm, maybe the song from your reception, or a favorite song that reminds you of your dating years.

Be creative. It doesn’t have to be a long prayer. Pray for two minutes and twenty-five seconds; pray for two hundred and twenty-five seconds; just pray. Want to fan the flame on passion and commitment? Keep investing. Honor your spouse by calling upon the Lord. He will bring renewal and refreshment. Trust Him.

Gracious or encouraging words takes effort and experience. Take time to invest and work. Your words can't be recalled once spoken.
