For a family in medical crisis, some mornings start in a hospital waiting room or with another round of treatment. Some start with news no one wants to hear. And every one of those mornings, God's compassion shows up renewed. 🌅

At Buna's Hope, we want families to see that faithfulness in real, everyday ways, from someone who simply remembered them to the joy of a Buna Box. Who could use a little "new every morning" reminder from you this week?

When someone you love is facing a health crisis, home should feel like a place to rest and heal, not one more thing to worry about. 💜

Through Buna Room Makeovers, our team of volunteers turns one room into a fresh, peaceful space for someone in the middle of a hard season. We handle the painting, the building, the furniture and the finishing touches, so they can focus on getting well.

A diagnosis is heavy, and it was never meant to be carried alone. This verse is the simplest description of what Buna's Hope does. We step in and help carry the weight with a gift that brings a smile to a tired kid, or a prayer for the family who feels forgotten. Whose burden can you help carry this week? This is the whole heart of Buna's Hope. When Buna was fighting cancer, it wasn't one big gesture that carried her family. It was hundreds of small ones: a casserole, a card, a prayer whispered on their behalf. That's where "Every Little Thing Done in Love" comes from. You don't have to do something huge this week, just something done in love. Drop a note in the mail, send a text, or sit with someone who's hurting. It matters more than you know.

This is where it all began. 💜

When "Buna", Elise Angelette, was battling cancer, her family was inundated with love.

Meals. Cards. Prayers. Help showing up from people across every walk of life, more than they ever could have imagined. And somewhere in the middle of it, they realized something: that kind of care shouldn't be rare. It shouldn't only happen for the lucky few.

Every little thing done for someone in their hardest season really can change everything. That's where Buna's Hope comes from.

We started this foundation so that no family walking through a medical crisis would go unseen, unsupported, uncared for. We want every family to feel exactly what Buna felt: surrounded, held up, and never forgotten, even in the darkest days.

That's still our why. Every single day. 🕊️
