Friday, August 21, 6:00 to 8:00 in the courtyard at Tandem Coffee & Cocktails, 424 Girod Street in Mandeville. Six rounds, prizes for the winners, no cover. Bring a few ones for the queens.

There's food and drinks out back, alcoholic and not, plus treats. Tandem's an allied partner of QNS.

All ages. Some adult humor, so parents might want to keep that in mind.

Friday the 21st, six o'clock. It'll be a good one.

We've got a new monthly event and it's the making-friends kind. ☕

Some of us are just not evening people, and a weeknight social can be a hard ask after work. So this one is early, easy-going, and mostly just sitting around a table with a coffee or a tea in front of you.

Saturday, August 15, 10:30 in the morning at Tandem Coffee and Cocktails in Mandeville, 424 Girod Street. All ages.

Q***r spaces on the Northshore are just the ones we keep showing up to. Saturday morning, that's Tandem. Hope to see you there!

The social's going out for pizza this month! 🍕🍕

Thursday, August 13, 6:30 to 9:00 at McClains Pizzeria in Mandeville, 5404 Highway 22. All ages. It's a new spot for us, so look for the tables with all the laughing.

It can feel like a quiet place to be q***r, out here. Then the tables get pushed together and it doesn't feel quiet at all. You don't have to know anybody. You don't have to say much. Just stopping by to grab a piece of pizza counts as joining in, and there will be a seat that's yours.

Some of us are loud about who we are. Some of us have never said it out loud anywhere. Either way, we saved you a slice!
