📚 A New Chapter for Our Care Closet 💙
If you’ve stopped by the Care Closet recently, you may have noticed a few exciting changes! Swipe to see how a few generous acts helped transform one corner of the Care Closet. We wanted to take a moment to thank the people who made it possible.
Our director’s son, Vaughn, handcrafted this beautiful bookshelf for us. Then Vaughn and his wife, Krystena, loaded it onto a utility cart and walked it from their home to the Care Closet so it could become part of our space. ❤️
A heartfelt thank you also goes to Ms. Joan for donating the jewelry display case. It has given us another wonderful way to organize and display items for those we serve.
Regular visitors may notice the transformation! The new bookshelf and jewelry display have helped us make better use of our space, allowing us to organize and display even more items throughout the Care Closet.
Acts of kindness like these remind us that the Federation Care Closet is truly a community effort. Every donation, every volunteer, and every helping hand helps us better serve current and retired St. Tammany Parish School System employees.
